Last Sunday, as usual we (myself and Malheiro) went for a ride to our favorite Mountain near Lisbon, Sintra. But this time we had something different on our minds, instead doing a course passing on our favorite trails we decide to focus our attention just in one cool trail called “Viúva” (Widow). It’s a descending trail with lots of parallels routes, some fast, others more technical, all with one thing in common: roots, natural steps, and rocks… we spent about an hour going up, down, left, right on foot trying to decide which was the best, fast and enjoyable way to “ride the widow”. At the end the result was awesome. We had a lot of fun doing a different weekend ride and learn how to dominate the terrible black widow.
Here’s a small tiny micro teaser from the trail.
